To Our Avon Lake Dental Family,
We hope you are warm and healthy in this new year! The health and wellness of our patients will always be our number one priority. In light of the global pandemic, we want to reassure you that our family dental clinic is continuing to serve our community and patients with the best care to ensure that your dental visit is as safe as possible.
All providers in our clinic wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, which includes a surgical gown, an N-95 mask and full face shields. We’ve invested in high-efficiency particulate air purifiers which continuously vacuum and purify surrounding air in each patient operatory. The Extra-oral suction appliances help to significantly reduce the risk of cross-infection by minimizing the presence of aerosols during patient dental treatment. The unit itself is equipped with HEPA+ activated carbon filtration along with UV-C Irradiation+ Plasma sterilization. These devices are designed to purify the collected aerosol in order to minimize any airborne pathogens. Negative ion generators provide a fully sanitized output of air to feel more pure, clean and energized during procedures.

We’re continuing to screen incoming patients before each appointment. The Avon Lake Dental COVID-19 screening includes temperature checks and confirming that masks are worn while entering our office. Health screening forms are to be filled out by patients when confirming their appointment, and again before entering the office for your dentist appointment. We kindly ask that patients wait outside our suite doors and call our front desk before checking in for your appointment. One of our office hygienists will meet you inside and measure your temperature and ask a few questions regarding your recent health symptoms. Rest assured that appointment times are extended to allow for these added health and safety COVID precautions.
